Nigeria midfielder Ebenezer Akinsamiro is on the verge of completing a permanent move to Serie B side Pisa following a successful loan spell from Serie A champions Inter Milan, Prompt News Online reports.
The 21-year-old spent the 2025/26 campaign with the Tuscan club, making 24 league appearances and registering one assist.
Despite Pisa’s immediate relegation back to Serie B after just one season in the top flight, Akinsamiro emerged as one of the team’s standout performers.
Pisa have reportedly triggered the €7.5 million purchase option included in the loan agreement and are now awaiting Inter Milan’s final decision on the transfer.
Akinsamiro joined Inter Milan from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Remo Stars in January 2023, signing a four-year contract.
The Beyond Limits Academy graduate previously spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Sampdoria.
The defensive midfielder was also named in Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, although he did not make an appearance during the tournament.
