Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has made a heartfelt appeal to Nigerians, urging them to support her latest film project.
Prompt News reports the actress shared a video on Instagram featuring veteran actor Nkem Owoh. In the clip, Annie appeared visibly emotional as the veteran actor asked why she looked unhappy.
Responding, Annie jokingly expressed her disappointment over what she described as the lack of support for their movie.
“I am not happy because they don’t want to watch our film. Hey guys, please watch my movie. I am doing it with my boss,” she said in the video.
Her appeal comes shortly after she announced her return to Nollywood following a break from acting.

Sharing a video from a movie set days earlier, Annie revealed that acting remains one of her greatest passions and expressed excitement about returning to the industry.
She noted that she was grateful for her personal growth, fresh opportunities and the chance to continue telling stories through film, describing her return as a new chapter in her career.
