Global rap icon Snoop Dogg is facing a deeply painful moment following the death of his 10-month-old granddaughter, Codi, a loss confirmed by his daughter, Cori Broadus, through an emotional social media post.
Cori announced the tragic news earlier in the week, sharing a touching black-and-white image of herself cradling her baby girl. In the post, she described Codi as the center of her world and revealed that her daughter had passed away.
Codi, who was born prematurely at just seven months, spent a significant part of her life in the neonatal intensive care unit, where she received specialized medical attention from birth.
In the weeks leading up to the tragedy, Cori had continued to update followers on her daughter’s condition, often expressing gratitude, hope, and faith as the infant showed signs of progress. Not long before Codi’s death, she posted a photo of herself resting beside her daughter, thanking God for what she described as encouraging improvements.
Confirming the loss, Cori wrote in a brief but emotional message, “Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” accompanied by a symbolic angel emoji.
