Social media activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan or VDM has responded to the recent buzz surrounding musicians Davido and Cubana Chief Priest following their meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
The two celebrities sparked widespread reactions online after being spotted at the presidential villa.
As conversations escalated, netizens began urging VeryDarkMan to share his thoughts.
In a video shared on his social media, VeryDarkMan clarified his stance, stating he has no issue with individuals supporting or voting for any political figure.
However, he emphasized that his concern arises when public figures, like Davido and Cubana Chief Priest, use their influence to steer public opinion.
He warned that while personal political choices are valid, leveraging celebrity status to manipulate followers crosses a line.
He said, “if you want to support Tinubu come 2027, that is your business. If you want to support any party that’s your business. So if you dey talk say make I set camera because of Chief Priest and Davido, I ain’t gat that time, but where me and them go get problem na when 2027 make them campaign for anybody. They no get that right. Na where we go get problem be that.”
