The Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman has commended the Bayero University Kano (BUK), for the rapid progress made in science education towards repositioning the sector.
Tahir stated this during the inauguration of the BUK Center for Teaching, Learning, Reading and Research Development, on Friday in Kano.
The Centre was designed with Teaching and Learning; Micro Teaching Laboratory, Department of Anatomy and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine as well as reading research development.
The feat, he said, was a thing of joy to see such big project completed within a short period of time.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Sagir Abbas, described the Center for teaching and learning as one of the best around the world.
He said the center was meant for lecturers to rule brisk on teaching profession on how to design and conduct lectures.

Abbas commanded the Federal Government for its regukar attention to the institution in 2022, which facilitated timely completion of the projects.
“The micro teaching is meant for taking students of education of all areas on how to manage their professional calling,” he said. (NAN)
