Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has dismissed circulating reports claiming he was arrested in London following an alleged altercation with his newlywed wife, Natasha Osawaru.
The rumours, initially spread by controversial blogger Tosin Silverdam, suggested that 2Baba’s absence from his scheduled UK tour on October 2, 2025, caused fans to leave the event and sparked speculation that he had been detained after a domestic dispute.
In a video shared online, 2Baba appeared alongside Natasha and close associates to debunk the claims, explaining that his absence was due to health reasons, not any conflict. One of his associates jokingly remarked,
“Oh boy, dem don alleged you. Allegedly, dem say you way dey here, allegedly, dem don alleged you.”

Speaking directly to his fans, the singer clarified the situation, saying,
“First of all, I want to say everyone that came out, I appreciate you. We had a medical emergency, it was tough. To the organizers and everyone that came out, we go regroup and make something beautiful happen. And please, if una no sabi something, make una no talk abeg. This allegedly, I don tire.”
The clarification has effectively put an end to the circulating rumours, with fans expressing relief after seeing the singer in good health alongside his wife.
