Impressed by the standard of football been displayed by the teams taking place in the tournament which is holding at Area 3 playground, Abuja, Chairman of Yagazie Foundation and Sports Inc, Kennedy Chinedu Ezirim, Thursday donated three sets of jerseys to three academy clubs to encourage them.
Ezirim made the presentation at the venue of the ongoing 2023 Talent Hunt Nigeria, an annual recruitment competition organised by Carl Academy and Football College in conjunction with Roberts Canada Soccer Academy.
He said the donation of the jerseys to three academy clubs participating in the week-long competition is his little way to encourage the teams taking part in the tournament, adding that he was impressed with the football skills the players displayed in the matches he watched.
Ezirim, a Match Analyst and product of Nigerian Institute of Sports (NIS) who also holds CAF licence, said he will continue to identify with youth football, insisting that the donation of the jerseys to three academy clubs is part of what Yagazie Foundation and Sports are set out to do.
Founder of Carl Football Academy and College, Umuahia, Abia, Pastor Emeka Inyama who received the jerseys on behalf of his team thanked the donor for the kind gesture, pointing out that such unsolicited donations are highly appreciated.
“I am happy to receive the jerseys on behalf of Carl Academy and Football College. This donation is highly appreciated especially from a young man like Mr. Kennedy Chinedu Ezirim who I just met during this our tournament”, Inyama said.
Also on hand to receive the set of jerseys from the donor are Mr. Eze Onyemaechi Michael, Proprietor of Bohold Football Academy, Umunneochi, Abia state and Mr. Kenechi Nwafor, Chairman of One Touch Football Academy, Abuja.
The players of both teams who adorned the jerseys during the presentation ceremony at Area 3 playground eulogised the donor for presenting the set of jerseys to them.
Meanwhile, the 2023 Talent Hunt Nigeria scouts from Laliga club, Cadiz CF of Spain, have identified some young talents since the tournament started even as the shortlisted players will on Saturday play against Selected NNL team at Area 3 playground. READ ALSO:
