Super Eagles forward, Cyriel Dessers has expressed his desire to leave Rangers in search of more regular playing time.
Dessers has played second fiddle to Moroccan star, Hamza Igamane at the club in recent weeks.
Prompt News reports that the 30-year-old has made one start for the Light Blues since December.
Serie A clubs, Cagliari and Empoli as well as LaLiga side , Leganes are reportedly interested in the Feyenoord player.
“Last month, I lost my starting spot. The boy who is playing now is also a good striker, he’s scoring goals. I try to support him and help him because I want the team to win. But it is difficult,” Dessers told VI.
“I don’t know what my outlook is now. I can imagine that Rangers might want to earn something from me now. But January is a difficult window. Clubs that are doing well probably also have a striker who is performing well.
” And few clubs that need goals will immediately have the millions ready. We’ll just have to wait and see.”
The forward also expressed his desire to play more regularly for the Gers.
“I’m at a great club, but I’m 30 years old and want to play every week. Preferably at Rangers. If there are different feelings about that internally, then we need to talk,” he added.
