Rinsola Babajide has expressed her desire to win a first major silverware with the Super Falcons at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Prompt News reports.
Babajide is one of the 11 players that will make their maiden appearance for the Super Falcons at the upcoming tournament in Morocco.
The former UD Tenerife is expected to be play a pivotal role for the Super Falcons at the tournament.
The 27-year-old declared that her mission is to help the team win a record-extending 10th title.
“My personal goal is to make my debut and I wanna contribute as much as I can to the team’s winnings, goals, assists, and I really wanna win my first senior silverware,” she told the Super Falcons media.
“It’s a very honourable feeling, I’m so privileged to be here. Whenever I’m able to put on the badge, I just feel honour and pride, so I’m excited to get started.”
The Super Falcons will begin their campaign against Tunisia in Casablanca on Sunday.
