Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has been named player of the tournament at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Prompt News reports.
Ajibade registered one goal, and two assists in six appearances for Nigeria at the competition.
The 24-year-old picked three Woman of the Match awards going into the final.
Her teammate Chiamaka Nnadozie was named best goalkeeper of the tournament.
Nnadozie, who kept four clean sheets conceded twice from open play at the WAFCON 2024 finals.
Justine Madugu went home with the Coach of the Tournament award.
