The ongoing saga between BBNaija star Phyna and the Dangote Group has taken a new turn, as social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has shared his perspective on the matter.
Phyna came under the spotlight after revealing that her sister, Ruth, lost a leg in a serious accident allegedly involving a Dangote truck.
She claimed that Dangote’s representatives initially promised to transfer Ruth to Lagoon Hospital in Lagos for proper care but later became unreachable, leaving her frustrated and suspicious of possible foul play.

VDM disclosed that he was involved in the initial discussions with the company.
According to him, Phyna contacted him after the accident, and together they met with Dangote’s representatives in Lagos, with a follow-up meeting with lawyers scheduled for the following day.
However, VDM alleged that Phyna later withdrew from the joint plan, opting to attend the lawyer’s meeting alone after Dangote’s team reportedly said they were “scared of VDM.”
Despite feeling betrayed, VDM emphasized that he has forgiven Phyna. He said, “Phyna, even though I have forgiven you, I just hope you have learned that in this life you should be careful who you use. You used me, and now they are playing you. I forgive you and I still love you genuinely—and I hope your sister is taken care of.”
VDM also issued a stern warning to the Dangote Group, stating that if Ruth’s condition worsens or she loses her life, “all Dangote operations in Edo State would be shut down.”
This statement follows VDM’s earlier criticism of Aliko Dangote, in which he condemned careless driving by Dangote trucks, highlighting the dangers they pose to Nigerians daily.
