Nigerian activist Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman or VDM has responded after influencer Ashmusy reached out for assistance in recovering N33M she lost to a scammer, despite their tumultuous past.

The two have clashed on multiple occasions, the most recent being in July 2024 when Verydarkman accused Ashmusy of being involved in a 73 euros scam.

However, Verydarkman was taken aback when Ashmusy contacted him via direct message, urgently seeking help to recover the money she had lost to a scam.

Ashmusy explained that despite her attempts to get the individual to return the money, they remained uncooperative, even though the person was still active on social media.

In response, Verydarkman couldn’t hold back his laughter, recalling the harsh words Ashmusy had directed at him in the past, calling him a “pig” among other insults.

He expressed disbelief at the turn of events, noting how life often surprises people by flipping situations, leaving no one exempt from facing the unexpected.

He said, “Ashmusy sent me a DM, telling me about somebody that scammed her. Because she want Verydarkman to help her recover the money. The same Verydarkman that you called a p!g”

@lifeinsolace: “But what led her to go to VDM? Someone she abused or has she forgotten?

On the other hand, I can never side with anybody who reveals a confidential chat with another person just to spite the person.”

@Optimus_Dracula: “Normal normal, women no get shame. This guy can help her and she’ll still turn around and wash him afterwards.

It’s their MO”

@BiigFish_: “Ogade! Leave cho chop chop for woman! U go help her or not? As u come online now, wetin u gain”
