Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is delighted to make a return to the team after over a year absence, Prompt News reports.
Musa captained the Super Eagles to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The forward has however not been involved with the three-time African champions since the end of the competition.
The 31-year-old is currently part of the squad for the Unity Cup invitational tournament in London.
The Kano Pillars star stated that he is always delighted to be part of the team.
“I’m always happy whenever I get the call-up so I’m very happy to be back,” he said in a video posted on the Nigeria Football Federation,NFF, TV.
“It has been a long time but I don’t think there’s any difference so we just wait and see on the day of the game what is going to happen.”
