In its bid to enforce discipline among its members, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday constituted a Disciplinary Committee headed by the former Minister of Transport, Dr. Umaru Dikko.
According to the acting National Publicity Secretary of the party, Caesar Okeke, the committee will be inaugurated by the national chairman, Bamanga Tukur at a later date.
“Pursuant to the provisions of Articles 57 (1), (2), (3) of the Constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the leadership of the party has approved the composition of the PDP National Disciplinary
Committee.
Members of the Committee are as follows: Dr. Umaru Dikko – Chairman, King A.J. Turner – Deputy Chairman while members are Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu , Shuaibu Oyedokun , Nana Ayishat Kadiri, Hussaini Diraki and Emmanuel Agboti as Secretary,”, Okeke stated.
