All the national teams are now to be guided by a Code of Conduct, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has said.

The decision to re-introduce code of conduct was sequel to the recent display of gross indiscipline by the Super Eagles in Kenya and Namibia.

NFF Executive Committee member and chairman of Nigeria Nationwide League, Ahmed Kawu told newsmen that NFF will apply the code of conduct on all national teams without exception.

“We have a code of conduct in place even before the NSC set up a panel to probe bonus crises and formulate a code of conduct for Super Eagles. We shall apply the rules on all the teams from Eagles to Super Falcons and to the least of the teams.

“The Super Eagles are not the only team with disciplinary issues; it also exists in the Flying Eagles, Eaglets, Falcons, Falconnets and Flamengos. So we have to apply the rule on all of them to keep discipline” he stated.

Kawu insisted that NFF is bent on getting the best from all the national teams, adding that the best can only be achieved if the players are disciplined.
