Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has issued a fitness update on Victor Osimhen following Tuesday night’s 1-0 win over Liverpool, Prompt News reports.
Osimhen scored the winning goal for the Yellow and Red in the keenly contested encounter.
The Nigeria international converted from the spot 16th minute.
The 26-year-old however limped off the pitch in the 71st minute, and was replaced by Mauro Icardi.
Buruk said the forward was replaced as a precaution.
“Osimhen was feeling tired and had a cramp in his foot, but we don’t think it’s anything serious,” Buruk was quoted by the club’s official website.
“There’s no negative information coming in at this time.”
