“A lot of people assume that I’m a womaniser. But I’m not,” he said. “In the past two, three years, Nollywood has taken over my life in a way that there’s no room, except you will be the most unserious [to womanise]. From being on set all day to getting back tired at 11 pm, I will now start chatting a lady? I don’t have the capacity for that. So, I’m not in the street as people may think I am.”
Egbuson also revealed that he has been single for the past two to three years, stressing that his intense work schedule makes it virtually impossible to juggle multiple romantic interests.
Despite the public perception and the persistent “bad boy” stereotype, the actor said he is not bothered by the labels. In fact, he finds them quite amusing.
Timini Egbuson, known for his roles in several blockbuster Nollywood films, continues to enjoy a thriving career and is widely regarded as one of the industry’s most sought-after leading men.
