Super Falcons defender Chidinma Okeke has joined Napoli Women on a permanent transfer from Mexican side América Femenil, Prompt News Online reports.
The 26-year-old centre-back has signed a two-year contract with the Italian club and will now continue her career in Serie A.
Okeke expressed her excitement after completing the move, saying she has already settled in well with her new teammates and coaching staff.
“I’m happy with my first few days here. I’ve met the coach, the staff, and my teammates, and it’s been fantastic. My goal for this season? To give my all together with the team,” Okeke told Napoli’s official website.
Okeke began her professional career in Spain with Madrid CFF in 2019. She has also featured for Hapoel Be’er Sheva in Israel and Mynavi Sendai Ladies in Japan before moving to América Femenil in Mexico.
