Nollywood actress Beverly Osu has spoken out against what she describes as society’s habit of blaming people for choosing the wrong partners while ignoring the role of deception in relationships.
In a message shared via her Instagram story, the actress argued that people are often quick to criticize individuals who end up in the wrong relationship, without considering that some partners intentionally present a false version of themselves in order to gain trust.
According to her, responsibility should not only fall on the person who trusted, but also on the one who misled and manipulated.
