Umar Sadiq is itching towards full recovery from a cruciate ligament injury, reports Prompt News.
Sadiq has been on the sidelines since sustaining the injury in Real Sociedad’s league clash against Getafe in September.
The striker walked off the pitch on his own after landing awkwardly.
The Nigeria international was expected to miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery.
Sadiq is now working in the gym and could yet make an appearance for the Blue and Whites before the end of the campaign.
The 25-year-old arrived Real Sociedad from Almeria last summer.
