S.J. Communications announces the launch of STATSPHERE MAGAZINE, a premier quarterly publication dedicated to statistical advocacy and data literacy in Nigeria and across the globe.
In a statement by the Publisher, Mr Sunday Joel Ichedi on Sunday, the premier quarterly publication is dedicated to statistical advocacy and data literacy in Nigeria and across the globe.
The debut edition offers a robust blend of news, exclusive interviews, and expert analysis. Highlights include an in-depth look at key economic indicators such as GDP, inflation, and public debt. Readers will also find crucial reports on the MICS 7 data collection exercise, maternal and infant mortality trends, and the recent rebasing of Nigeria’s GDP and CPI, featuring expert commentary from Dr. Muda Yusuf and the Director General of MAN.
A major highlight of this edition is an exclusive interview with the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu. The Minister provides unique insights into how the Federal Government is leveraging data to combat poverty. Additionally, the magazine honors the “Czar of Statistics,” Dr. Ogar, for his 35 years of meritorious service as the Statistician-General of Cross River State.
STATSPHERE also features insightful articles by industry veterans, including “Effective Data Communication in Statistical Organisations” by the publisher, Mr. Ichedi Sunday Joel, and an analysis of the rebased GDP by Mr. Ewache Ajefu. To simplify complex data, the publication includes specialized infographics and data illustrations designed to promote statistical understanding for all readers.
As a global platform, STATSPHERE offers a unique opportunity for organizations to advertise their goods and services to a diverse, data-conscious audience. We invite the public and stakeholders to explore this edition and provide feedback to help us continue improving statistical communication.
