Ann, a close associate of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been released after spending two nights in custody.
Her release reportedly came on Wednesday evening after the matter was adjourned until March 5, 2026.
The development was disclosed by Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy, via his Instagram story. Earlier in the day, he had raised concerns over how Ann was handled by authorities, claiming she was taken to court without the knowledge of her legal counsel or family members.
“Similar techniques. Not letting legal representative or family aware of the whereabouts. Not allowing anyone know the court, final stage prison. Case adjourned until March 5th,” Sammy wrote.

A few hours later, he confirmed Ann’s release in a follow-up post, stating, “My T.E.D. Ann is out.”
Sources say Ann was arrested in Lagos on Monday before being flown to Abuja in a private jet over theft allegations reportedly made by Regina Daniels’ estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Prompt News reports the allegation surfaced about two months after Regina Daniels reportedly separated from the senator amid claims of domestic violence.
