Callum Hudson-Odoi struck late as Nottingham Forest beat Manchester City 1-0 at the City Ground on Saturday.

The former Chelsea winger picked up a diagonal pass from Morgan Gibbs-White seven minutes from time, before beating City goalkeeper Ederson at his near post from a tight angle.

Substitute Matteo Kovacic wasted a chance to equalise for the visitors in stoppage time.

The result kept Nottingham Forest in  third position on 51 points.

Pep Guardiola’s Man City  remain in fourth place on 47 points.

Up next for Forest is a trip to Ipswich Town,  while City will host Brighton.
