Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has welcomed a baby boy with one of his partners, Omobewaji Ewatomi.
The announcement was made on Friday through Instagram, where Omobewaji shared the news of the child’s arrival and expressed gratitude to God for a successful delivery.
“Alhamdullillah,” she wrote.
She also tagged what appeared to be the newborn’s Instagram page, revealing the baby’s name as Jamal Iremide.
Portable also celebrated the arrival of the child on his Instagram page, thanking Omobewaji for bringing him happiness.
“God bless you more, Omoleye Omobewaji mi. Thanks for making me happy,” he wrote.
The birth came on the same day Portable lost to streamer Carter Efe in a celebrity boxing match decided by unanimous decision.
Reacting to the defeat, the singer said he was more focused on celebrating the birth of his son than winning a boxing belt.
