By: Gracious Akujobi General Manager of Kano Pillars FC, Abba Galadima has said that retaining the league title is their dream and target this year.
Speaking ahead of the reception planned for them by Kano state government for winning the league last season, Galadima posited that the club has positioned itself to retain the league title this season.
He disclosed that they would do everything possible to ensure that they do not relinquish their leadership of the league after 25 games adding they want finish at the top again.
“We are highly motivated to retaining our title by the government and people of Kano state and our fans all over the country. We shall win the league and return to the continent next year”
“The truth is that we had a poor run in the CAF Champions League last time and we want to make amends for that by returning there again. We are now wiser and will approach the CAF champions’ league with experience” he stated
Kano Pillars players and officials are expected to be given cars as rewards for winning the league last season.
