TikTok personality and content creator Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has revealed that he has secured admission to study law at a university in Lagos State, marking a new chapter in his personal and professional life.
The announcement was made in a viral video shared on Saturday, where Peller appeared visibly excited as he addressed years of online criticism over his level of education.
In the clip, he was seen entering a building with a statue of justice at the entrance, hinting at his decision to pursue a legal career.
While confirming that he has been admitted into a “private university in Lagos,” the social media star declined to mention the name of the institution.
Reacting to past mockery, Peller said, “Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated, as if I’m the first person who didn’t attend university. Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school.”
He further declared, “I’m now studying law, you can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law.”
Prompt News reports Peller has long been a subject of debate online, with critics often describing him as “lousy and uneducated.” Earlier this month, he disclosed his intention to return to school, explaining that he wanted to improve his spoken English, which he had previously described as “bad.”
The TikToker has also been in the news recently following drama linked to the visit of American streamer IShowSpeed to Nigeria. Peller reportedly made several attempts to meet the streamer for a potential collaboration but was stopped by members of the security team.

In a dramatic bid to get attention, he later appeared on horseback while calling out to IShowSpeed, but was seemingly ignored once again.
After the incident, Peller accused some security personnel of demanding money before allowing access to the streamer.
“Bouncer dey tell me say make I bring N1 million to see IShowSpeed. Imagine. Na so e dey collect money from the remaining people. You wicked oh. Una do me strong thing. Make I bring N1m to see IShowSpeed for what reason?” he alleged.
