Ousted Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu and Secretary, Iyiola Omisore on Tuesday met behind closed doors with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja.
Prompt News reports that the two APC chieftains who were shoved aside last week by the party hierarchy in what can be called a power play later left the Presidential Villa at exactly 1:35 pm without talking to State House Correspondents as such visits always entail.
Recall that after several weeks of intrigues in the seven-week President Tinubu administration, the night of ‘long knives’ eventually caught up with the duo last week when, according to multiple sources, they had to comply with the ‘advice to resign” from their plum positions. READ ALSO:

APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Senator Abubakar Kyari, took over in acting capacity but was later confirmed by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja.
