Bright Osayi-Samuel has expressed his disappointment after failing to make a winning debut with Birmingham City, Prompt News reports.
The Blues were held to a 1-1 draw by Ipswich Town at the St Andrews Stadium on Friday night.
It was Osayi-Samuel’s maiden competitive appearance for Birmingham City.
Jay Stanfield gave the home team the lead five minutes before the hour mark.
Ipswich however equalised in stoppage time from a penalty converted by George Hirst after Lyndon Dykes handled the ball inside the box.
“There’s a bit of disappointment, conceding at the last minute was painful,” he said after the game.
“We defended well and looking forward to the next game.”
Osayi-Samuel joined Birmingham City as a free agent this summer after his contract at Turkish giants Fenerbahce ran out.
