Nigerian singer Omawumi Megbele has marked her 10th wedding anniversary with her husband, Tosin Yussuf, with a heartfelt tribute that highlights their decade-long journey of love and friendship.
The 42-year-old songstress took to Instagram on Thursday to share an emotional video slide capturing cherished moments from their family life.
In the post, Omawumi expressed her deep gratitude to Tosin, describing life with him as “stress-free,” aside from the occasional disagreements.
“10 years of love and friendship! Wow! Happy anniversary, my love! We did it, and we will continue to do it! I am truly grateful for you; life with you is stress-free (apart from some small sqoin here and there),” she wrote.
Omawumi thanked Tosin for his love and understanding while offering a heartfelt prayer for their union.
“You have made it so easy. Thank you for your love and understanding, and I want to thank myself, too! My prayer is that God will continue to strengthen our bond, may our children be blessed, and may we continue to smile and be joyful! I love you, my Baba K and F,” she added.
Though they’ve been together for 10 years, the couple had their traditional wedding in January 2018. They have two children.
