Nigerian rap veteran Olamide has released a brand-new single titled ‘99’, reuniting with his former signee Asake on the track. The song is part of his upcoming self-titled album, Olamidé, which is set for release on June 18, 2025.
The energetic single also features contributions from hitmaker Young Jonn, street-pop artist Seyi Vibez, and British singer Daecolm.
Prompt News reports that produced by Willis, ‘99’ blends diverse musical influences, continuing Olamide’s tradition of pushing the boundaries of Afrobeats.

Asake’s appearance on the track comes months after he launched his own record label, Giran Republic, and released his debut single ‘Why Love’ under the imprint. Despite rumors of a falling-out following his exit from YBNL Nation, his involvement in ‘99’ signals that there’s still mutual respect and collaboration between him and Olamide.
The Olamidé album will include 17 tracks, featuring previously released singles such as ‘Hello Habibi’, ‘Metaverse’, and ‘Uptown Disco’, the latter of which features both Asake and Fireboy.
Fans can expect the video for ‘99’ to premiere soon, while the full album is just days away from hitting digital platforms.
This project will mark Olamide’s 11th solo album. Earlier this year, he teamed up with Wizkid on ‘Kai’, their first collaboration since 2011’s ‘Omo To Shan’.
