Chris Wood fired a hat-trick as Nottingham Forest defeated Newcastle United 3-1 in a thrilling Premier League clash at the St James’ on Boxing Day.
It all started so well for the hosts with Alexander Isak’s penalty giving them the lead on 23 minutes.
Nottingham Forest however turned things around with Chris Wood scoring thrice to hand new manager Nuno Espirito Santo his first win.
Wood equalised late in the first half , before adding two more goals after the break.

The Magpies will face Liverpool in their next game on New Year’s Day.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men will host Manchester United at the City Ground on Saturday.
