A leading football Scouting and Marketing Application, Al Haddaf, which will enable players and coaches to be selected by top leaque clubs without physical appearances will be launched in Nigeria by the end of February.
Al Haddaf App which recently named former African Footballer of the Year, Coach Emmanuel Amuneke as its Brand Ambassador, is set to become operational in Nigeria as the founders are working round the clock to make the App to work very efficiently for subscribers in Nigeria.
Although the App has been up and running outside the country, the official date for the Nigeria launch of Al Haddaf App is expected to come before February 28.
Brand Ambassador Amuneke has exclusively confirmed to Prompt News that Al Haddaf App will be launched in Nigeria before the end of this February, pointing out that the delay was as a result of some glitches.
“The owners of Al Haddaf App wants it to be as fast as possible. The App is up and running but it has been slow hence they decided to delay a bit in order to make the App faster for subscribers”, Amuneke revealed.
Explaining further he said “the innovative Al Haddaf was designed in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic in order to expose budding talents across the continent via the App to affiliate clubs across Europe and other parts of the world”.
Based in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, where Amuneke made his name with Zamalek during his heyday, Al Haddaf is a good platform to market players and coaches with ease without the exigencies of travelling for trials.
According to the former Super Eagles forward later Assistant Coach, is a good platform to market players and coaches with ease without the exigencies of travelling for trials.
Said he, “Al Haddaf is a genuine platform and one of the reasons I’m partnering with them is due to the fact that it offers many young African players unrestricted access to foreign scouts since travelling is becoming a major issue across the world as a result of COVID-19,” stated the former Barcelona winger.
“There are millions of talents on the continent but very few have the chance of travelling out for trials with clubs in Europe particularly at this period.
“By registering on Al Haddaf, many players would have the opportunity to be seen without even stepping outside their community.
“This is a big advantage for them and I can only enjoin them to take the opportunity since they are going to register with just a token.”
Meanwhile, Amuneke posited it should be of interest that players and coaches have the chance of uploading their profile, images and videos once their registration is completed.
According to him, “as soon as registration is done, “the management team of Al Haddaf will select five players with best videos on a monthly basis and recommend same to top European clubs for consideration”, Amuneke revealed.
