Senator Ned Nwoko has fired back at activist Omoyele Sowore after the latter criticised him for facilitating the arrest of TikToker Tuma, who had accused Nwoko’s wife, actress Regina Daniels, of infidelity.
Tuma, in a viral video posted months ago, alleged that Regina Daniels had a boyfriend in Abuja and that her two children were not fathered by Nwoko.
He claimed to know the hotel where the actress and her supposed lover allegedly met, sparking outrage and legal action from Nwoko, which ultimately led to Tuma’s arrest and remand.

Sowore, reacting to the situation via Facebook, accused Nwoko of fraudulently securing a remand order against Tuma.
He argued that the young man was being punished simply for insulting the wife of a public figure and had not committed a serious offence such as rape.
In response, Nwoko took to Instagram to share the video that landed Tuma in trouble, calling both Sowore and the TikToker “busybodies and nonentities.”
“This is who busybody jobless Sowore is pretending to be defending. Sowore and the boy are miscreants and nonentities,” he wrote.
The lawmaker made it clear that the prosecution will proceed despite online backlash, warning that cyberbullying will not derail justice.
“He challenged me to go to court. He has landed in the appropriate court, and justice will take its course. One million cyberbullying idiots can’t stop him from being prosecuted and punished as appropriate,” he added.
