Former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho is rooting for his ‘best friend’ Jose Peseiro to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations title with Nigeria.
Nigeria will take on hosts Cote d’Ivoire in the final of the biennial competition at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Sunday (today).
Peseiro will be looking to win his first major silverware as a coach.

“My best friend in football is in the final (AFCON). The Nigerian coach he is my best friend. He grew up with me, we studied together. We went to University on same day, we spent five years together.
The encounter will kick-off at 9pm Nigeria time.
