Manchester City overpowered Liverpool 3-0 in their Premier League clash at the Etihad on Sunday.
It was Pep Guardiola’s 1,000th game as a manager.
Norway international Erling Haaland missed a penalty for City early in the game.
Haaland however make amend for that miss by scoring the opening goal just before the half hour mark.
It was the striker’s 99th Premier League goal.
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk had an equalizer controversially disallowed few minutes later.
Nico Gonzalez scored Liverpool’s second late in the first half.
Manchester City added the third through Jeremy Doku in the 63rd minute.
