By Gracious Akujobi: Vice Chairman of relegation threatened Nigeria Premier League side Lobi Stars FC, Dominic Iorfa is confident that his club will not go down.
Iorfa who doubles as the club’s technical adviser confessed that the season has been very tough and no team can boast that they will win at this stage even as he insisted that Lobi will rise in this second half of the season.
“Lobi Stars are surely out of contention for the league title but we shall ensure that we crawl out of the bottom of the log where we are now. Lobi have what it takes to challenge for the league but we did not get it right from the onset.
“The little problem we had at beginning has been sorted out and the team is now cruising and ready to deliver the goods .The boys are not happy seeing their position at the foot of the log and are now desperate to make amends” he stated.
He also expressed optimism that Lobi Stars will still gun for a ticket to return to the continent by winning the Federation Cup.
The former BBC Lions and Abiola Babes winger said his target at the start of the season was to win a continental ticket and that he was still hopeful they will still make it.
