By Gracious Akujobi: Board member of TEAP FC and former Minister of Solid Minerals, Oby Ezekwesili says Super Eagles needed the victory to boost their confidence.
Also known as Madam “due process” Ezekwesili and her husband were among the dignitaries who watched the Eagles play their last test match before departing for Ivory coast for the return leg match of CHAN qualifiers.
She expressed confidence in the Super Eagles even as she extolled her team for putting up a good performance
“I would have loved TEAP FC to defeat Super Eagles, but then I also don’t mind Super Eagles winning because they need the confidence booster because if TEAP defeats them and they are preparing to play Ivory Coast I am sure they would have been too demoralized”
Meanwhile, Super Eagles will travel to Lagos Wednesday, and depart from Lagos to Abidjan on Thursday morning.
