Laila Charani, the Moroccan model married to politician Ned Nwoko, has taken to Instagram to challenge actress Regina Daniels, releasing a wave of posts to address allegations she says have been unfairly pinned on her.
In the series of statements, Laila openly admitted that she smokes shisha but strongly pushed back against claims that she uses hard drugs. She insisted she is more than ready to undergo a blood test, urging Regina to do the same. As she put it, “I didn’t say that I don’t smoke shisha… At least, I don’t do drugs. I can do blood tests for you and let her do it too.”
Laila also confronted accusations that she has been involved with other men. She demanded proof, saying, “If you say I sleep with men, do you have proof of that? Show it to everyone.” She questioned how Regina could claim she doesn’t “hurt women” while allegedly spreading damaging narratives about her.
According to Laila, she is not pursuing anybody romantically. Instead, she stated, “At least I am not following men; they’re the ones following me everywhere.”
The mother of three became visibly upset when addressing remarks reportedly made about her son. She warned Regina to be mindful, writing, “She is talking about my son… Be careful, I trust my children.”
Prompt News reports Laila also tackled claims that she returned to her husband only after apologising. She clarified that her decision was based solely on her children’s wellbeing. In her words, “People are saying I came back with an apology. I did this for my children. I have four houses in Morocco and I have a shop.” She added that financial security has never been her problem.
She didn’t spare Regina’s friend Ann either, saying pointedly, “Look at your level before talking about me… You aren’t on my level, dear.”

Explaining any errors in her posts, Laila reminded critics that English is not her main language, noting, “I am a Moroccan woman, and I speak French more than English.”
As she wrapped up her outburst, she hinted that the root of the ongoing friction is tied to affection, saying, “He loved me, that’s why she couldn’t accept it, and she left him.”
