After weeks of speculations, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, also known as ‘Jenifa’ has confirmed that her one year marriage has hit a cul-de-sac
The celebrated actress in May 2012 got hooked to Kehinde Oloyede in a well publicized and elaborate traditional wedding ceremony.
Ayo Ola- Muhammed, her Publicist in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday, confirmed that ‘Jenifa’ is now separated from her husband, Mr. Oloyede.
The statement reads in part, “on behalf of our client, star actress, Funke Akindele, we want to formally inform you that after due consultation and consideration, she’s now separated from Mr. Kehinde Oloyede as his wife.”
While urging her teeming fans to respect her wish, the popular actress also called for prayers as she moves on in her career.
“She hereby urges her fans and all concerned to pray and wish her the best as she moves on in her career.
“This is the first and only official statement from Funke Akindele on the matter and will be glad if her wish is respected” the Publicist stated further.
