Nollywood actress Biola Adekunle has reflected on her difficult journey to motherhood, revealing that she waited five years after marriage before conceiving.
The actress made the disclosure in an interview with African List, where she spoke candidly about the emotional struggles she faced during the period she was unable to have children.
According to Biola, the experience left her heartbroken on many occasions as she constantly prayed and hoped for a breakthrough.
“After I got married, it took five years for God to answer my prayers for children. Back then, I cried a lot. But when God finally answered me, it felt unreal,” she said.

The actress added that the moment she finally received the good news was overwhelming and difficult for her to process.
“I didn’t even know what to do.
“I just called my husband and told him”.
