Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has responded to growing speculation over the future of star striker Victor Osimhen amid reports linking the Nigerian with a move away from the Turkish champions, Prompt News Online reports.
Osimhen has reportedly attracted interest from several European heavyweights, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and Chelsea.
Recent reports claimed Galatasaray turned down a €120 million bid from Atletico Madrid for the prolific forward.
However, Buruk has dismissed those claims, insisting that the club has not received any official offer for the former Napoli striker.
“We haven’t received any such proposal. There’s nothing going on right now. Hopefully, he will continue his career at Galatasaray,” Buruk told CumHuriyet.
Osimhen enjoyed an impressive campaign with Galatasaray and remains a key figure in the club’s plans ahead of the new season.
He produced 22 goals and eight assists in 32 appearances, playing a decisive role as the club secured a fourth consecutive Süper Lig title.
