Federal Capital Territory Football Association chaired by Mohammed Mourktar Adam has hailed the appointment of the new Minister of Sports, Senator John Enoh describing it as the right step in the right direction.
According to Mourktar, the choice of Senator John Enoh by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as new boss in sports will open more grounds for development of the game.
“Your appointment is well deserved and it shows that the President has interest in sports. I also believe that the new Sports Minister will build on the legacy his predecessor Sunday Dare left behind and further look at the areas that needs immediate and long term attention.
‘Though government is a continuum and couple with his vast experience both public and private enterprise, I have no doubt that our sports will move to the next level,” said FCT FA Boss.
Speaking further, he urged the new Minister to consider providing sports facilities as top in his agenda.
He added “various sports policies/decisions taken by the immediate past minister Sunday Dare should be critically examined before embarking on another policy. READ ALSO:
