Sunderland stunned Chelsea 2-1 in their Premier League clash at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
It was Chelsea’s second home defeat of the season.
The Blues got in front through Alejandro Garnacho in the fourth minute.
Sunderland battled back with Wilson Isidor firing home the equaliser from inside the box in the 22nd minute.
Chemsdine Talbi netted the winning goal for Sunderland deep into stoppage time.
Chelsea will now shift attention to their Carabao Cup clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux next week Wednesday.
