Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Fulham 2-0 at the Craven Cottage in their final game of the season.
Ilkay Gundogan scored for the Citizens in the first half after a long period of dominance.
Erling Haaland then doubled their advantage in the 72nd minute from the penalty spot after Gundogan was fouled.
Manchester City fought hard to maintain their lead in the latter stages of the game.
Fulham slipped to 11th position following the defeat.
