Chidera Ejuke has shared his excitement after making history in Sevilla‘s thrilling win over Real Valladolid on Tuesday night.
The enterprising winger scored the winning goal for the home team five minutes from time.
Ejuke entered the history books as the first Nigerian player to score for Rojiblancos.
The 26-year-old was full of excitement after recording the feat.
“I feel very good and happy. It is an important victory for the team,” he told the club’s official website.
“It’s incredible to score in front of the fans, it’s an incredible feeling and also get the victory. “I’m very happy.”
Ejuke joined Sevilla on a free transfer this summer after severing ties with Russian club, CSKA Moscow.
