Afrobeats star Davido has expressed outrage over a viral video showing a bullying incident involving students of Igbinedion Secondary School in Edo State.
The singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, reacted to the disturbing footage on X on Sunday after the clip began circulating widely online.
“F***ing Animals… so disgusting,” he wrote.
The video shared on the platform captured two male students physically assaulting another student who was lying on the ground. In the clip, one of the attackers was seen dragging the victim by his school uniform and stepping on his chest while the boy cried out in pain. A third student, who was recording the incident, could be heard pleading with the attackers to stop.
The footage triggered widespread outrage on social media, leading to swift disciplinary measures from the school authorities.
According to a statement issued by the Edo State Police Command and signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Eno Ikioedem, the school management has expelled the students directly involved in the assault.
The student who filmed the incident has also been suspended.

The police further revealed that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Monday Agbonika, had instructed the Divisional Police Officer in the area to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
“The Edo State Police Command totally condemns acts of bullying, violence, or intimidation among students, and anyone found culpable will be dealt with in accordance with the law,” the statement said.
Prompt News reports authorities added that investigations are ongoing, assuring the public that those responsible will be apprehended and prosecuted in line with the law and in consideration of their ages.
