Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about why he has been less active on social media lately.
The singer, who is Africa’s most-followed artist online, hinted that his marriage has prompted him to reduce his social media presence. He shared this while responding to a fan concerned about his recent absence.
The fan wrote on X, “Davido never post for over 3 days now. I miss my idolo.”
Replying, Davido wrote, “When u marry u go understand.. lol”

Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, held their white wedding ceremony in Miami, Florida, in August 2025. The couple celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
