Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe has joined Saudi Women’s Premier League side Al Hilal on a two-year deal, Prompt News Online reports.
The 25-year-old makes the switch to the Riyadh-based club after ending her six-year spell with Portuguese champions Benfica.
Ucheibe will team up with fellow Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala at Al Hilal.
The former Nasarawa Amazons midfielder enjoyed a trophy-laden stint with Benfica, helping the club secure a number of domestic honours during her time in Portugal.
Benfica confirmed Ucheibe’s departure in June, paving the way for her move to Saudi Arabia.
Ucheibe has also been a regular member of the Super Falcons and was part of Nigeria’s squad that lifted the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title.
