Emmanuella, the partner of popular content creator Carter Efe, has refuted claims that their relationship ended over a year ago, describing his statement as untrue and misleading.
On Sunday, Carter Efe had announced that he had been single for more than a year, accusing Emmanuella of contributing to major personal and career challenges.
He claimed the relationship left him unfocused, financially drained, and separated from their daughter for three months.
Reacting via Instagram, Emmanuella dismissed the separation claim as “false,” insisting they were still together until recently and alleging they were intimate just three days before his public disclosure.
She also raised concerns about child support, stating that Carter does not consistently provide for their daughter and that she must personally approach him for financial assistance.
“I have seen everything Carter posted about us. However, the way he posted it was weird because we were literally together three days ago, and we had sex,” she wrote.
“We have a baby together, and for you to cater for your child, I will have to come to you before you can give me money, even though we aren’t together anymore, like you claim.”
Emmanuella further accused Carter of controlling her personal life and limiting her professional growth, alleging that he discouraged her from pursuing a career and cut her off from her support system.
“You stopped me from working. I’ve always wanted to become an actress, but Carter doesn’t want that. I had to kill that dream. I can’t even work at the hospital because he said I would sleep with the doctors there,” she alleged.
She also claimed he deliberately isolated her from friends and family.

“This same person blocked all my female friends because he knows I would confide in them. Going ahead to post a video of my female friend’s brother is crazy.
“If people try to contact me, he blocks it. He made sure I kept my family away,” she added.
Emmanuella further alleged that Carter had threatened her prior to his social media posts.
“Honestly, when I saw his post about me, I was shocked because he called me this morning and told me he was about to post something calling me a prostitute and that he would make sure I never post myself ever again.
“Since he was the one who gave me the platform, he would also take the platform from me. God knows everything,” she said.
In another post, Emmanuella described her pregnancy experience as traumatic, accusing Carter of physical abuse and repeatedly throwing her out of his home despite her condition.
“My pregnancy journey was hell. Carter would hit me regardless of my condition, which made me a regular at this particular hospital,” she wrote.
“Every staff member there knew me so well that the moment I stepped foot in the hospital, they already knew why I had come. He would hit me and throw me out of the house.
“The nurses would ask why I was always at the hospital alone, with no one to help me, but I would always lie because they all knew me.
“One day, a nurse noticed some bruises on my hand and asked about them, but guess what, I acted like I didn’t know what it was.”
Prompt News reports Carter Efe has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of this report.
