Cagliari are working on a deal to bring Cyriel Dessers back to the Italian top-flight.
The Nigeria international spent the 2022/23 season with Cremonese.
Dessers impressed, despite failing to prevent their relegation to Serie B, with seven goals and two assists in 29 games.
The 29-year-old also make a big impression in his first season at Rangers registering 22 goals and nine assists in 54 appearances across all competitions.
The forward was however criticised for his wastefulness by pundits and supporters.
According to TuttoMercatoweb, Cagliari have inquired about Dessers’ availability from Rangers.
Rangers are willing to sell the striker but want €5m for the former Feyenoord player.
Cagliari could make attempt to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy. – PNO Sports.
